4th Grade Families: Take advantage of the "Every Kid Outdoors" Pass
How the Pass Works
Dates valid: The pass starts each year on September 1 and runs through August 31 of the student's transition to fifth grade.
Who it covers: Free entry is granted for the fourth grader, all children under 16 in the group, and up to three accompanying adults (or an entire passenger vehicle at drive-in parks).
What is included: National parks, national forests, wildlife refuges, and other federal lands and waters.
What is excluded: Expanded amenity fees such as camping, parking, boat rides, or special guided tours.
How to Get the Pass: Go to the Every Kid Outdoors website. Have the student complete the short online educational activity. Download and print the paper voucher to bring with you to participating federal recreation sites. Some locations allow you to exchange the printed paper voucher for a durable plastic card pass in person.
